Dow Jones & Co is currently seeking Circulation Sales Development Managers to join the Circulation department in major market cities, including NY, CA, FL, MA and DC. The Circulation department manages the delivery, distribution and circulation sales growth strategies for The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and the New York Post.

The Major Market Sales Development Manager will utilize metrics and analytics in the development of sales growth strategy and implementation with a focus on key single copy markets. The successful candidate will manage wholesaler relationships and is a hands-on position responsible for collecting and manipulating data, interpreting metrics and making recommendations on sales growth strategy within major markets. Specific weekly metrics include the number of dealers and growth in dealer base, sell outs and availability. Will interface across classes of trade, including wholesalers and retailers, and conduct wholesaler audits. Working in conjunction with Circulation Managers, will make recommendations on single-copy sales and implement strategies with wholesalers and vendors.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree strongly desired; MBA preferred.
Prior experience managing perishable products to retail-level preferred.
Must be expert user in Excel and Access.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and solution-oriented skills.
Proven success utilizing analytical ability to affect change within a sales initiative.

Dow Jones & Company is currently seeking a Circulation Manager (Delivery Field Manager) to manage the distribution of company publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and New York Post, as well as locally contracted print partnerships in the Southern Florida market. The majority of time will be spent in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area, but may be expected to travel throughout the Southern Florida region.

The Manager will hold direct responsibility for the management and success of third party delivery contractors including local newspapers and independent contractor groups. This role requires the ability to work as part of a national team responsible for the delivery component of the supply chain ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively. Working with contractors, wholesalers and distributors, the Delivery Field Manager will be expected to increase circulation within the assigned region, including single-copy sales. This position reports to the Circulation Market Manager and will work out of a home office.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of experience in a delivery/distribution operations environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired.
• Prior experience working for both a national and a local publication preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are a must.
• Must understand newspaper delivery/distribution networks and models, operations and logistics.
• Must be results-oriented, able to think creatively, and self driven to achieve continuous improvement.
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work in collaboration with immediate and cross functional peers both internally and externally
